Care

How Megan can help

No problem is too small to ask about, and none too big to talk through together.

  • Family medicine

The everyday things that come with family life: infections, aches, rashes, check-ups and advice on whatever’s on your mind. No problem is too small to ask about.

  • Women’s health

Contraception, period problems, perimenopause and menopause (including HRT where it’s right for you), pelvic and gynaecological concerns, and everything in between, backed by an ICGP Certificate in Gynaecology.

  • Mental health

Anxiety, low mood, stress and burnout. A kind, confidential space to be heard, with a practical plan for support and treatment.

  • Weight management

A compassionate, judgement-free approach that looks at the whole picture, from hormones and sleep to food and movement, with medical options where appropriate.

  • Not sure where to start?

Book a general consultation and you’ll work out the best next step together.

Approach

You’re more than a set of symptoms

Megan takes a holistic, individualised approach to care, considering your physical health, your emotional wellbeing and the life you’re actually living, so your plan is realistic and truly yours.

  • Body

Symptoms, hormones, your medical history, and the right tests and treatments.

  • Mind

Mood, stress, sleep and mental wellbeing, because it’s all connected.

  • Life

Work, family, food, movement, and what’s genuinely doable for you.

How it works

Care that fits around your life

No waiting rooms, no travel. Just a conversation, from wherever you are.

  1. Choose a time

Pick an appointment type and a time that suits you on the online booking page.

  2. Meet on video or phone call

Join from your phone, tablet or computer. Somewhere private, comfy and quiet is perfect.

  3. Leave with a plan

Together you’ll agree your next steps, which might include treatment, tests, referrals or lifestyle support.

Good to know: online care suits many concerns, but not everything. If you need an in-person examination or urgent care, Megan will point you in the right direction.

Hey there!

I’m a wife and a mum to three gorgeous girls, and we’re a quirky family who love a good talent contest and a round of Uno after supper.

Most of us are juggling more than we let on. More than anything, I want this to be a source of kind encouragement and connection as we strive to thrive through all the seasons of life.

I can’t wait to meet you!

Meg x

Questions

Good to know

What happens in a video consultation?

You’ll meet Dr Leitch face to face over video, from wherever you feel comfortable. She’ll listen, ask questions and agree a plan with you, just like a GP visit but without the waiting room or the travel.

Who can book?

Dr Leitch provides remote consultations for patients in Ireland, from little people to oldies.

Can I book for my child or an older relative?

Yes. Parents and carers can arrange a consultation for a child or an older relative. For little people, a parent or guardian needs to be with them on the call.

Can every concern be dealt with online?

Many can, but not all. Some things need an in-person examination or urgent care. If that’s the case, Megan will tell you and help you with the right next step.

What should I have ready?

A private, quiet spot, a phone, tablet or computer with a camera and microphone, and a good internet connection. It can help to jot down your symptoms, your questions and any medicines you take.

Is this an emergency service?

No. If you or someone else is in danger or needs urgent medical help, call 999 or 112 or go to your nearest emergency department. If you’re struggling emotionally, Samaritans are free on 116 123 at any time, or you can text 50808.

I have a question before I book.
